A Passion for Writing

I began my career as a storyteller early, developing a fascination with journalism in high school as I wrote for and helped to edit my high school newspaper. I completed my undergraduate work in poetry and during my graduate work, I studied the great writers who explored aesthetics.

I became a professional journalist in the early 2000s, eventually writing for The New York Times and a wide array of shelter publications and travel magazines. Blogging and content strategy for clients have been in the mix for the past decade but in everything I do, I see the world as a journalist.
